A highly well rounded artist, Dashill Smith has displayed his talents on many stages across the US. and internationally. He has performed and recorded with several Grammy Nominated/Winning artists such as Jazz artists Russell Gunn, David Sanchez, and Kebbi Williams, Miguel Atwood-Fergurson, neo-soul artists India Irie, Anthony David, Janell Monet, and Afro-Soul duo Les Nubians. He has also performed with the soul/jazz legend Roy Ayers, legendary drummer Clyde Stubblefield, Soul/blues legend William Bell. Dashill is an alumni of the world renowned Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta and Tri-Cities High School of Visual and Performing arts. A magnificent lyricist and emcee, he's as equally potent as a trumpet player, specializing in Jazz, Funk/Soul, Afro-beat, and fusion. He is now leading his new band "The Omega Level" which is described as a "Rare Groove, Experimental improvisational outfit." Mixing soul-jazz, funk-fusion, and futuristic modal movements.
